Merry Christmas !!!

Merry Christmas !!! The time of festive holiday has finally arrived, so much christmas shopping to be done, giving presents and sending christmas cards to friends.

My office is so generous that they gave us a day-off on both the eve of christmas and New year, hence, this make the work week shorter, anyway nobody is in the mood of working..haha!

This christmas i won't be clowning around like those youngster in the pub or disco..old already lah! my body too stiff to shake.. haha! We will go for a christmas dinner and watch a movie..and exchange gift. =)

Luckily English soccer don't have winter break, hence, there are still many 'Live' EPL matches to catch over the holiday season, notably Boxing day and the coming weekend. =)

DPA Christmas party...=)

Yesterday was our company christmas party held at studio 2 which is our new office near Marina cineplex. It is my first visit to the new office, the place is very nice, spacious, with white ceiling, and the M&E duct also white in colour, the office look clean and comfortable. The thermal comfort is very good. It is a nice working environment.

Many people turned up for the event, currently the staffs strength is 520..WOW!
The chairman and CEO made some speeches as well as our philpino collegues sang us some christmas songs.
This year the door-gift is the best gift i have ever received, it is a 410 pages book, featuring all the DPA projects from 1967 - 2007. It is a nice book with pictures and write-up of the projects as well as the profile of all the directors and Associate directors.

Beside the gift, we also have a nice buffer, good food and drink..oh..also a new DPA polo T-shirt.
If the event were to be held nearer to christmas i think will be much better, i guess it is because too many staffs will be taking leave in the next 2 weeks that is why they bring forward the event.

Nevertheless, it is a wonderful event hope next year will be a better 1 as well. cheers !!! =)

December = Holiday mood

1st of all..wish my good friend Miss Lee Ailing Happy 23rd Birthday...cheers!!! =)

Exams finally over, can start to enjoy myself, I have already make some plans such as doing some collection by taking pictures of old buildings and old shopping centres in singapore.

Oh..of course will take some pictures of Orchard road Christmas lightings. =)

December =)

Wa...So fast...is December liao! i believe this is the month which everyone is looking forward..haha, but i still can't enjoy myself because i have 1 more exam paper to go on next wednesday, after that is a self-declare hoilday for me. =)

So far i think i did fairly for my exams only, because due to poor time management when doing my exams, got 1-2 questions i have left only a few mins to do...rush like mad. Hope i can learn from this and manage my time properly for my next paper and future exams.

As usual here are some sport news update from me...haha :)

1) ENGLAND didn't qualify for EURO 2008. SHOCKING !!!! 1st time missed out on major tournament since World Cup 1994. =(

2) Manchester United ended their 10 EPL matches unbeaten streaks last weekend against Bolton, they lost 1-0. =(

3) SINGAPORE made it to the 3rd round of World Cup Asia-qualifying round for the 1st time. They are among the top 20 Asian countries. Cheers!!! =)
